NYE weekended in Montreal is indeed the busiest time of year. Thousands of people flock to the city making it one big party. this can also become a headache for those just looking to have a good time. The hotels tend to sell out fast. If you are able to find a room you will be paying inflated room rates. Expect to pay between $200-300 a night for a four star room at a downtown Hotel. if the hotel is offering less than $200 a night it is often too good to be true that or the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Often hotel’s will boast being in Montreal when in fact they are 30-45min away from the nightclubs. trying to save a few buck by booking one of these Montreal hotels will cost you more in the long run. As transportation to and from the party will be costly. I dunno about you but i don’t want to have to travel 45min to go party.

Club La Boom is one of Montreal’s best know nightclubs, and for good reason. La boom is located on Stanley street just a few streets away from the infamous Crescent street. La boom is also one of the biggest Montreal night clubs with a capacity of over 1,500! The club has two floors, four rooms, and five DJ. Each room has its own vibe and plays a different style of  music from hip-hop, house, trance, reggae, to old school. There are lineups that span the entire block every weekend, so you can bet New Years at Club La boom is going to be something special.  For New Years Eve La boom is having open ball all night (9pm-3am) and staffing over 25 bartenders.

Club Vatican is one of the best New Years Eve Parties in Montreal. Located on Crescent street, a known party street in the heart of downtown. The club is quite large, with a capacity of 700. Vatican is situated three floors above street level, offering clubbers an excellent view of busy Crescent Street. Vatican is known for crazy parties and a wild bar antics by its amazing staff of talented, beautiful, and energetic bartenders. Visitors from all over the globe flock to the nightclub for its intimate and energetic environment and great music. The club plays a mixture of hip-hop and house music. Expect to pay $80-120 for a ticket to a good open party, if the party is boasting open bar and tickets are only $40 you have to wonder how good it could be.
3. Pick a venue that is good year round.

   When selecting where to party in Montreal you need to look at the club or venues year round status. You want to choose a clubs that are hotspots year round not just new years, as these places have a reputation to maintain as being the best hotspots in the city. Since they are known for some of the biggest and best parties year round you better believe they are going to go all out for the biggest night of the year.
