NYE weekended in Montreal is indeed the busiest time of year. Thousands of people flock to the city making it one big party. this can also become a headache for those just looking to have a good time. The hotels tend to sell out fast. If you are able to find a room you will be paying inflated room rates. Expect to pay between $200-300 a night for a four star room at a downtown Hotel. if the hotel is offering less than $200 a night it is often too good to be true that or the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Often hotel’s will boast being in Montreal when in fact they are 30-45min away from the nightclubs. trying to save a few buck by booking one of these Montreal hotels will cost you more in the long run. As transportation to and from the party will be costly. I dunno about you but i don’t want to have to travel 45min to go party.
