Picking the right new years party
While new years in Montreal can be very exciting it can also be very confusing. This especially holds true for those who are visiting Montreal for the first time. There are literally hundreds of Parties the weekend of the 31st all claiming to be the biggest and best party in town. All of this makes it very hard for your average party goer to decipher. Luckily the for you there is this blog. I’m going to give you all the steps you need to pick the right new years party for you
- What type of party are you looking for? do you prefer a nightclub, lounge or bar? expect large crowds for what ever you pick, its New Years after all.
- Open bar only! All the best parties are open bar all night long. NYE is all about drinking (well, for must of us) so why pay for drinks if you don’t have to? Open Bar events are not cheap. Expect to pay $80-120 for a ticket to a good open party, if the party is boasting open bar and tickets are only $40 you have to wonder how good it could be.
- Pick a venue that is good year round.
When selecting where to party in Montreal you need to look at the club or venues year round status. You want to choose a clubs that are hotspots year round not just new years, as these places have a reputation to maintain as being the best hotspots in the city. Since they are known for some of the biggest and best parties year round you better believe they are going to go all out for the biggest night of the year.
